This role
The Senior Information Technology Specialist is responsible for carrying out the management and maintenance of the various resources that the organization maintains in its facilities as well as providing support in the resolution of the various issues that may arise within the organization along with the implementation and maintenance of various policies, guarantee the security of information.
Responsibilities
Helpdesk & End-User Support
Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity tools.
Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
Cloud & Systems Administration
Support and maintain cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Slack, etc….).
Manage user access, permissions, and identity services (e.g., Google SSO, IAM).
Assist with cloud-based backups, monitoring, and security best practices.
Support SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, etc.
Networking
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
Assist with network security controls and access management
IT Asset Management
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning).
Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure compliance.
Coordinate device provisioning, replacements, and returns.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Security & Compliance
Follow IT security policies and best practices.
Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., SentinelOne, Kandji/Iru MDM).
Support audits and compliance requirements as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or 3+ years provided support in the form of Linux\Windows\Mac OS architecture.
Experience with automation engineering, switches and network technologies.
Strong understanding of system and application integration, as well automation engineering.
Able to work off hours for maintenance and projects.
Python or other language at a Novice level or higher
