The Role
The Commercial Team builds and manages our partnerships with leading financial institutions, shaping ClearScore’s commercial strategy and driving innovation. By integrating our technology with partners’ products, we’re defining the next generation of consumer-focused financial tools and ensuring the ClearScore marketplace remains the best place to shop for credit.
As a Partner Success Manager, you’ll be at the heart of ClearScore’s growth in Australia and New Zealand, building strong, strategic relationships with leading financial institutions — from major banks to emerging fintechs and non-traditional lenders.
You’ll work across all levels of our partners’ organisations, from CEOs to credit risk, product, and marketing teams, to identify growth opportunities and maximise value. Your role will combine relationship management, commercial strategy, and data-driven insight to enhance our marketplace and expand into new verticals.
Partnering closely with product, engineering, CRM and analytics teams, you’ll represent the voice of our partners internally, drive continual product optimisation, and manage every stage of the partner lifecycle — from sourcing and negotiating new deals to deepening existing relationships through to managing partner products on our site or defining marketing campaigns with them. You’ll also analyse performance data to uncover insights, produce reports, and spot new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage a portfolio of lending partners across Australia and New Zealand, building strong, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Analytics teams to deliver growth initiatives, campaigns, and product launches that drive performance and revenue.
- Negotiate new and existing commercial agreements, meeting quarterly revenue and growth targets.
- Shape and execute commercial strategies to identify and capture new revenue opportunities across ClearScore’s key verticals.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, deepening existing relationships while identifying new prospects.
- Lead regular business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders to share insights, address challenges, and drive performance.
- Leverage ClearScore’s data to understand marketplace dynamics, monitor trends, and uncover opportunities for both ClearScore and its partners.
- Represent ClearScore as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the financial services ecosystem.
- Support commercial prioritisation by forecasting the impact and value of new initiatives across users, partners, and revenue.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience
- Experienced in financial services, consumer credit, or fintech, with an understanding of how credit decisions are made.
- Well-connected within the Australian and New Zealand financial services market, ready to make an immediate impact.
- Analytical and data-driven — able to interpret insights, identify trends or spot anomalies and define the drivers to translate them into action.
- A growth mindset with a passion for learning.
- Passionate about improving financial wellbeing and excited by the challenges we solve.
- Ambitious, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with credit risk and decisioning processes, particularly in credit cards, is highly desirable.
