You are:

Database Administrator

The work:

The DBA will perform day to day querying and analysis using SQL queries and procedures, execute scripts to enhance understanding of data within a consolidated data store, and perform daily health monitoring of production databases to ensure maximum application uptime.

Here's what you need:

  • Experience in PostgreSQL database administration, with a focus on AWS-hosted environments 
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases on Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora 
  • Strong skills in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability setup for PostgreSQL 
  • Experience with any monitoring services (i.e., CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk) 
  • Ability to design and implement scalable database architectures in AWS cloud environments 
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing

Bonus points if You Have the Following Experience:

  • Oracle 
  • PostgresSQL 
  • Liquibase 
  • Performance tuning 
  • Replication 
  • ERD Documentation

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

 

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$93,400—$176,200 USD
