Description

Assist with the preparation, filing, and maintenance of trademark, copyright, and design applications and renewals globally.
Coordinate the collection of specimens and assist in developing and documenting acceptable usage evidence to support Statements of Use in trademark filings. Monitor deadlines and manage IP docketing systems to ensure timely action on filings, responses, and renewals.
Proof-read invention intake forms and other IP related documents (e.g., Declarations and Assignments) and ensure compliance with procedural form requirements.
Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and document executions for filings.
Prepare status reports and summaries of IP portfolio, including generating internal and external docket reports.
Conduct preliminary trademark searches, monitor potential infringing activity, and assist with enforcement actions (e.g., online takedowns).
Assist in preparing Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) and manage reference lists.
Communicate and coordinate with inventors, local counsel, and international associates on IP matters, including application status, deadlines, and filing requirements.
Maintain organized IP files and update digital records in documenting systems.
Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and cost management related to filings and renewals. 

Additional Information

As needed, support legal and compliance processes, including contract management and record keeping.
Schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for legal meetings and calls.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and other ad-hoc projects for the Legal team.
Perform additional administrative tasks to support legal operations as required.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Law, Paralegal Studies, Business, or related field preferred).
2+ years of experience as an IP Paralegal or in a legal administrative support role (in-house or law firm).
Familiarity with trademark and copyright processes in India and internationally.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace Suite, and document management tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with global IP portfolio management.
Working knowledge of IP docketing software (e.g., CPI, Symphony, or Anaqua).
Experience supporting in-house legal teams for technology or e-commerce companies.
Familiarity with USPTO TEAS, EPAS, and WIPO ePCT systems.
