Position Overview
The Key Account Controller is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships, ensuring financial performance, and driving operational excellence within key accounts. This role combines financial oversight, data-driven analysis, and strong communication skills to support account growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary financial and operational contact for assigned key accounts.
- Monitor account performance, including revenue, costs, margins, and KPIs.
- Prepare and present account performance reports and financial insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure account objectives are met.
- Identify growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements within key accounts.
- Support contract negotiations and pricing strategies by providing financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and risk management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in operational management.
- At least 1 year of experience in international e-commerce logistics management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python, Pandas, Power BI, Excel/VBA, C#, and SQL.
- Deep understanding and passion for driving operational excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through leadership, collaboration, and influence.
- Experience handling complex operational and commercial challenges.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong team player with a proactive approach to supporting global, regional, and country teams.
- Ability to build effective networks and relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and ability to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
