Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of high-performance diesel engines and diesel engine components by identifying customer needs, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role is fully remote and requires technical knowledge of diesel engines and aftermarket performance parts. We are also looking for someone that has the ability or preferably experience selling into light duty truck fleet operations. This role will include both inside (phone/email) sales and outside sales (face to face interactions). The role will support B2C web lead sales as well as call on B2B prospects.
This is a remote role with uncapped commission earning opportunities.
Requirements
Experience:
- Make outbound calls daily to fleet operations, diesel shops, engine builders, performance retailers, and installers to introduce D&J products
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls and live chat inquiries from potential and existing customers.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, address queries, and guide them through D&J Precision Machine’s products, services, and active promotions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate D&J’s value proposition.
- Ability to cross sell D&J’s sister companies, BD Diesel and Brian Tooley Racing
- Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs.
- · Manage your active new business pipeline, maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, preferences, and transactions using our CRM system.
- Guide customers through the sales process, providing detailed information, and assisting with the selection of the most suitable products/services.
- Assist customers with order placement, payment processing, and other transactional activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assess the Diesel Repair Engine builder market, assist with competitive analysis and pricing recommendations as needed.
- Become an expert in your field, seek out product expansion opportunities or new sales channels
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
