Our Product Engineering CAD Internship gives you real, hands-on experience—applying CAD skills, solving problems, and contributing to projects that make an impact.
This is a part-time, onsite role at our Kalamazoo facilities. Ideal candidates can start in January, work at least 20 hours per week during the school year, and 40 hours per week during the summer.
How You Contribute:
- Assist CAD team in creating drawings and solid models.
- Develop skills with the use of Solid Works and apply to product modeling.
- Create shop drawings for fabrication team.
- Assist manufacturing engineers with process tooling design and fabrication techniques when needed.
- Participate in project brainstorming and update meetings.
Criteria for Success:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited institution working on completion of a bachelor’s degree with a desire to become a CAD engineer
- Experience with Solidworks CAD software and Revit is preferred
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Work environment will be in both office and manufacturing floor environments.
