ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.

  • Promote and support a safety-first culture; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety programs
  • Develop and implement multi-year maintenance strategies focused on up-time improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for maintenance personnel using servant leadership principles.
  • Collaborate with the COO to develop budgets and manage expenses within approved limits.
  • Oversee CMMS utilization, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting on KPIs such as uptime, downtime, and PM completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure safety while in our plants along with quality and cost-effective service.
  • Lead initiatives to transition from reactive to proactive maintenance practices.
  • Manage spare parts and consumable inventory to support maintenance operations.
  • Support employee performance reviews, coaching, and growth planning to build a high-performing team.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee facility utilities, systems, and grounds maintenance to ensure optimal operation and appearance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-department collaboration on maintenance-related projects.

  • Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of maintenance management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams and implementing CMMS-based maintenance programs
  3. Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Proficiency with CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and maintenance planning tools.
    • Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLC, robotics, hydraulics).
    • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
    • Servant leadership mindset and ability to empower teams through mentorship and accountability.
    • Strong project management and budgeting abilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
    • Physical ability to access various areas of the facility as needed for inspections and support.
