Position Summary:
The Environmental Aide reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, offices and related areas. The duties consist of housekeeping functions including, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, removal of bio-hazardous materials and waste. Cleans accidental spillage or breakage and non-routine cleaning assignments such as cleaning air vents and grills, shampooing upholstery and cleaning interior and exterior windows. Actively supports and promotes the hospice’s vision, mission and overall philosophy.
Shift Available:
- Part Time: Friday from 1:30pm - 10:00pm, Saturday - Sunday from 9am - 5:30pm. All shifts are at our University Center Drive location.
Education and Experience:
- Housekeeping experience required, preferably in healthcare with knowledge and proper usage of cleaning solutions and Universal Precautions.
