JOB PURPOSE
The position at site level is responsible full material accounting of receipts/issues; custody management of assets; maintaining loan issue records, controlling stocks and monitoring with required coordination other departments such as planning, site, accounts and C&C.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
- Ensure with judicious monitoring of purchases/consumptions, the site store stock will be almost nil at end of job.
- Routinely monitor stock values-excess/nonmoving/slow moving.
- Record all assets are intact with respective custody managers and account wear and tear/loss due to accident/theft.
- Ensure all materials/assets with Store custody is safe from any loss
OTHER DIMENSIONS
- Construction materials purchase/consumption/stock to extent of Rs 100 crores.
- Assets monitoring with value of assets at site up to Rs 30 crores.
- Other materials/spares/tools/consumables purchase/consumption/stock up to Rs 5 crores
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from an accredited college or university. Diploma in Material Management essential for sites handling project budget in excess of Rs 500 crores.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering preferred
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 10-15 years’ experience in handling stores and leading a team of 10 staff members including store keepers and associated labor.
- 5-7 years of experience in handling stores in Highways/Railway Projects is preffered.
