Key Functions and Expected Performance

Data Collection and Processing
•     Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
•     Develop scripts and workflows to automate data collection and processing tasks.
•     Write complex queries and extract data sets from various systems including CRM, SIS, and financial aid                systems using query management and ensuring efficient database management and optimization.
•     Maintain data confidentiality and observe all FERPA regulations while managing data security principles.
•     Creates enrollment models, using predictive analysis and descriptive statistics.
•     Provide direct, hands-on CRM configuration and troubleshooting through testing, and adjustments to                 ensure alignment with institutional processes.
•     Document progress and evolving needs while managing updates to project plans under the guidance and         approval of supervisor, ensuring scope, timelines, and resources remain aligned with organizational                     expectations.

Data Visualization and Reporting
•     Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations using tools such as Slate,          Power BI and Tableau, Snowflake.
•     Work autonomously to create and manage reports and visualizations in Tableau and Slate, ensuring data            integrity through sound data storage technologies.
•     Design, generate, and produce standard and custom analytical reports summarizing data to support                    enrollment management operations, utilizing data quality enhancement strategies.
•     Populate the weekly enrollment forecast reports and validate the accuracy of the data, 
       applying data migration techniques as necessary, before sharing these reports with internal and external            stakeholders.
•     Contribute front line insights to reusable resources and service evolution, working with other enrollment              staff to develop and refine institutional project plans, CRM playbooks, onboarding guides, and training                materials, while also surfacing institutional feedback and retraining needs to strengthen mature CRM                  services.

Supervisory Relationships
This position does not have supervisory responsibility. Position reports administratively and 
functionally to the Director of Enrollment Services.

Education and Certifications
•     Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field required
•     Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience and Skills
•     3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or related field required
•     Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools required
•     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
•     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and                                   independently.
•     Expertise in Tableau required, including a deep understanding of front-end usage, configuration,                         integration, and functional optimization.
•     Experience with higher ed ERPs/SIS (PeopleSoft preferred) is required.
•     Experience with CRM systems (Slate preferred) for data management and reporting is preferred.
•     Experience with Snowflake is preferred
•     Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is preferred.
•     Proven experience in developing and managing analytical dashboard.

Travel
•     Some travel is required for conferences.
