PT TLS are looking for a passionate and results-driven Operation Department Head to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and supervise all waste management operations (hazardous/B3 and non-hazardous) to ensure activities run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate operational strategies to improve effectiveness, productivity, and service quality.

  • Ensure all operational activities comply with the Company’s QHSE standards and relevant environmental regulations.

  • Coordinate resource needs (manpower, equipment, facilities) to support smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Monitor and report on operational performance, including process output, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and inspection findings.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, vendors, and customers related to operational activities.

  • Identify operational risks and develop preventive and corrective actions to support a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee and ensure proper maintenance of equipment, facilities, and waste treatment units to keep them in optimal and safe operating condition.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development for the operations team to ensure high competency and performance.

  • Analyze operational data to deliver strategic recommendations for process improvements and management decision-making.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Integrated Management System, including identifying, documenting, and controlling risks within the department’s scope of work.

  • Promote and ensure team commitment to fully understand and comply with all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.

  • Actively participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, or potential incidents caused by unsafe actions or conditions, and provide accurate information and fact-based reports.

  • Contribute to the information security control process to safeguard the Company’s information assets and processing systems, ensuring protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or Public Health.

  • At least 3 years of work experience with solid knowledge of environmental management activities, such as consultancy, transportation, and waste management (both hazardous/B3 and non-hazardous).

  • Possess environmental certifications such as AMDAL, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operational Supervisor (POPAL), Hazardous Waste (B3) Management, or Environmental Auditor.

  • Proficient in using computers, especially Microsoft Office.

  • Able to work effectively in a team and with organizational experience.

  • Highly motivated, energetic, and creative.

  • English proficiency (spoken and written) is an advantage.

  • Willing to be placed in West Jakarta.
