Purpose of Role

Responsible for developing and executing data-driven CRM strategies that drive engagement, referrals, and customer satisfaction. Oversees the development and delivery of targeted multi-channel campaigns, such as email, SMS, direct mail, and digital, using CRM platforms and analytics to ensure personalized, impactful communication. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into effective customer journeys aligned with brand strategy and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Analyzes email and customer data to identify opportunities for improving inbox placement and engagement, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Manages the Email and SMS channel calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling, coordination, and timely deployment of all communications.
  • Tracks campaign performance and proactively recommends optimizations to campaign and strategy teams.
  • Owns CRM campaign execution, ensuring all communications meet Finance of America’s brand, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Designs, implements, and analyzes A/B tests to continuously enhance key campaign performance metrics.
  • Stays ahead of CRM and Reverse Mortgage industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities to initiate and lead improvement projects.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to align CRM activities with broader business objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Director, CRM

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing CRM campaigns, preferably across email, SMS, and other digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, including segmentation, targeting, and list management.
  • Project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities, supported by strong presentation and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of email and SMS marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and compliance with CAN-SPAM and related regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to operate independently with initiative and accountability.

  • Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time-off benefits, flexible spending account, 401(k) with employer match, and ESPP.
