Job Summary

This swing shift position is responsible for supporting manufacturing and operations by supervising manufacturing operators and technicians to ensure quality and on time delivery of various catheter projects. This role complies to FDA QSR (21 CFR 820), ISO 13485 requirements and adheres to the Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and monitor manufacturing projects to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors new and existing employees.
  • Assist in completion of production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow
  • Maintains quality operations by establishing and enforcing production standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolves personnel problems by investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
  • Monitor and organize raw material needs for manufacturing projects; effectively communicate material needs to purchasing and inventory resources.
  • The position does have supervisor responsibilities and is responsible for performance management and the hiring of the employees that are designated under their supervision.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED or minimum of 7+ years experience in medical device industry performing manufacturing and supervisor responsibilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math (i.e. decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
  • Can apply common sense; Understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use measurement tools like microscopes and pin gauges and to compare measurements to documented standards.

Salary range:  $90,000 - $100,000/annual
