As a Principal Virtual Server Administrator, you'll proactively manage and monitor virtual servers to ensure seamless operation, applying patches and updates to maintain security and performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing virtual server operations, recommending and deploying patches and updates, and conducting routine maintenance and performance tuning.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in virtual server administration, with hands-on expertise in proactive monitoring, patching, and optimization in government or large enterprise environments
- Proven track record managing VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms for high-stakes operations
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
- Strong knowledge of federal IT standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA) and ITIL practices for service operations
- Proficiency in virtualization tools (e.g., vSphere, Hyper-V Manager) and monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex virtual environments under pressure
- Applies extensive expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines, with the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment
