About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our growing sales organization, drive new business development, and strengthen customer partnerships in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. The Vice President of Sales is a key member of the Innovative Labs executive team, responsible for leading the company’s commercial growth strategy and driving revenue across the company. This role will focus on expanding strategic customer partnerships, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring alignment between our commercial goals and operational capabilities.


The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with deep experience in contract manufacturing, private label, or B2B manufacturing environments—someone who thrives on building relationships, leading high-performing teams, and developing long-term growth strategies that support Innovative Labs’ mission to deliver exceptional products and service to our customers.



What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy in alignment with Innovative Labs’ commercial objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and Operations leadership to forecast demand, evaluate margin performance, and identify growth opportunities across customer segments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer needs align with operational capacity, product innovation, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide executive-level insight into market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviors to inform strategic decision-making.



Business Development & Client Partnerships

  • Lead business development efforts with new and existing customers, focusing on long-term strategic relationships and high-value partnerships.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Innovative Labs at trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations, serving as a key brand ambassador. 
  • Work with Product Development teams to align sales strategies with go-to-market plans and product innovation initiatives.



Sales Team Leadership & Operations

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and measurable results.
  • Establish clear sales goals, incentive structures, and performance metrics.
  • Implement best practices for CRM utilization, pipeline forecasting, and reporting accuracy.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the sales organization.



Customer Success & Retention

  • Serve as executive sponsor for major accounts to ensure exceptional customer experience and proactive communication.
  • Drive customer retention and growth through solution-oriented engagement and consistent delivery on commitments.
  • Work closely with internal partners to resolve challenges, improve response times, and enhance service delivery.

  • Proven ability to negotiate and close large-scale, multi-year contracts with national and global customers
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales management systems (e.g., Monday.com, or similar platforms)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within contract manufacturing, nutraceutical, personal care, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
  • Demonstrated record of leading high-performing teams and achieving measurable sales growth
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in operations, finance, and product development
