The Tribe Data is responsible for a system landscape of central components of the fixed and mobile network, which encompasses a wide range of different systems and platforms.
The T-DAT SDM Cloud Enabling Squad is responsible for Subscriber Data Management (SDM) within Deutsche Telekom. This covers fixed-line, mobile, and M2M applications. The squad is primarily responsible for migrating the CNTDB, HSS, and UDM from bare-metal systems to a self-developed cloud based on Kubernetes. In this transformation, the SDM Cloud Enabling Squad plays a key role as a DevOps engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing future Kubernetes-based database solutions. In addition, automation solutions are developed as part of CI/CD, and the integration of new versions and changes is automatically tested.
Activity description and concrete tasks:
· Development, testing and executing of automated deployment methods for database services on Kubernetes Cloud architecture
· Development, testing and executing of automated end-to-end tests for database services on Kubernetes Cloud architecture and UDM and HSS
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable end-to-end system functionality
· Develop strategies for automated integration and delivery processes, including managing the infrastructure and tool suite shared across projects.

Qualifications:
· Mobile communications knowledge in the area of 5G Core (UDM, AMF, SMF, NRF) / 4G Core (HSS, DRA) + SDL/CNTDB
· Knowledge and experience in usage of real time high availability databases (OneNDS, CNTDB, SDL)
· Advanced Know-How in Network Policies, Secrets, Node/Pods configuration
· Fundamental knowledge with DevOps, cloud and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Flux, DSO, Artifactory)
· Basic knowledge of microservice architecture as well as cloud-based applications and databases in a kubernetes enviromentexperience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
