Archimedes is a specialty drug management company with an industry-leading technology platform that health plans and employer groups can use to manage specialty drug spend. We are expanding our team and looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in healthcare analytics. This position will report to the VP of Analytics and will be responsible for the day-to-day importing, exporting, distributing, analyzing, and reporting of healthcare data. Given our growth trajectory, we are looking for a person who can grow with the company, learning new skills and assuming an expanding role.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:

- Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) supporting analytics, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with tools such as SSMS, PowerBI, and Excel.
- Analyze, model, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Promote data stewardship and governance best practices.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Navigate and improve organically grown legacy systems while contributing to modernization initiatives.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Background Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field.
- Experience:

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts required.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering or data analysis in a production environment required.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows required.
- Experience with Excel and data visualization tools such as PowerBI required.
- Experience with healthcare data or other highly regulated industries preferred.
- Experience with SSMS preferred.
