DOF Asia Pacific is seeking experienced Chief Officers with a Chief Certificate of Competence (COC) and dynamic positioning (DP) expertise to deliver technical capability and leadership for our offshore marine vessel operations within the Oil and Gas Industry. This is an opportunity to join our Marine team and navigate our world class fleet of vessels.
Reporting to the Master, the Chief Officer will lead the deck officers and set the highest standards to ensure the delivery of a safe and efficient operations to our clients. These responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting the Master in navigating and operating the vessel.
- Experience in winch operations working on AHTS and/or PSV offshore vessels.
- Leading emergency response operations and supporting the crew in safety drills.
- Ensuring adherence to the company’s Safety Management System and policies.
- Acting as the designated DP Operator and managing all associated duties.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date navigation logbooks.
- Overseeing the vessel's stability, trim, and fuel management.
- Participating in the training and development of the deck crew.
- Facilitating communication between the bridge and engineering teams for improved operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Minimum Chief mate (unlimited) COC and Dynamic Positioning (unlimited) qualifications with history of experience in offshore marine is essential.
- Demonstrate capability as a Chief officer on DP2 offshore vessels
- Offshore vessel experience particularly for PSV, AHTS and/or CSV.
- Winch operating experience and/or certified is beneficial but not essential.
- Completed STCW Certification requirements for Offshore Marine.
- GMDSS General Operators Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Hands on leadership and mentorship abilities
- Builds and maintains positive team relationships across the vessel.
- Resilient, adaptable and flexible in managing multiple tasks effectively within high-pressure situations.
