PURPOSE

The Requirements Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and traceability of requirements for the Airport Master Systems Integration (MSI) project. This role ensures that all requirements are accurately captured, allocated, and verified throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the built environment and a strong understanding of systems integration within airport infrastructure projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a Requirements Analysis, Allocation and Traceability Matrix (RAATM) to track how PAPL’s requirements are addressed in MSI documentation.
  • Record verification and associated evidence demonstrating that requirements have been met.
  • Manage and track additional requirements created during the Technology Program, ensuring cross-referencing to their source.
  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain a comprehensive Requirements Management Plan including:
  •  MSI’s organisational structure for requirements management
  •  Roles and responsibilities
  •  Progress reporting
  •  Key dates and milestones
  •  Requirements breakdown structure and lifecycle approach
  •  Identification and capture methodology
  •  Allocation mechanisms to third parties and oversight strategy
  •  Verification and validation approach
  •  Traceability across the delivery lifecycle
  • Consolidate a comprehensive list of requirements across Systems and capture them in a centralised location using PAPL’s requirements management system.
  • Allocate requirements to the correct third party (e.g., LDC or other technology vendors).
Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements management within large infrastructure or airport projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the built environment and systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of requirements of lifecycle and traceability methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools and documentation standards.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Experience with airport technology systems and MSI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering and verification processes.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and third-party vendors.
