What will you do?
The Primary Care Physician role at Oregon State Hospital in Salem offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive ambulatory medical care within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to patient-centered behavioral health treatment. This position is instrumental in ensuring patients receive high-quality general medical services, both through the onsite medical clinic and directly within inpatient units. The physician serves as a key medical resource, collaborating with psychiatrists, unit staff, and other healthcare professionals to address the complex health needs of a diverse patient population.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess, or have the ability to obtain:
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Satisfactory completion of a residency program in Internal or Family Medicine in the United States or Canada
Physician's license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners at the time of appointment and maintain the licensure throughout employment
MD and DO's are both encouraged to apply.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
