Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales functions for the resort and responsible for crafting and coordinating the budgets to support the execution of the annual sales plan.
- Leverage existing industry contacts and further develop our network to build relationships with industry groups and customer groups.
- Serve as the primary representative for all sales and contract negotiations, overseeing the success of booking overflow and house accounts within the group segment.
- Create and execute comprehensive sales program built of a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
- Recommend sales processes, partnerships, and/or technologies to streamline performance and enable team goals.
- Monitor relevant sales metrics and making necessary adjustments to achieve targets
- Establish and guide a high-performing sales team through strategic hiring, coaching, and mentorship, ensuring team members are recognized and supported in their career growth.
- Provide clear strategic direction, execution guidance, and goal-setting support for the Sales team.
- Cultivate productive, collaborative partnerships across departments, particularly with the Events team.
- Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to support weekend and evening business demands.
- Define and track key performance indicators, providing regular reporting to leadership and managing to the annual sales and expense budget.
- Continuously explore new ideas by staying connected to resort sales trends, benchmarking best practices, and participating in key industry organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Skills and Experience
- College degree and / or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of sales director experience in high volume resort with similar vacation homes and amenities
- Experience in utilizing resort sales system.
- Able to read and understand financials and budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Resonate with the Evermore brand and values and carry them daily.
- Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive hand motions, such as typing
- Able to sit and perform deskwork for hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Able to stand, walk long distances, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach periodically
- Able to be on feet and moving around for entire shift
