About the Role

 

As an Events & Experience Specialist, you’ll bring the Tate brand to life through exceptional customer and employee experiences. You’ll be responsible for planning, designing, and executing events and experiences that showcase Tate’s innovation, culture, and commitment to our partners - from customer visits and site tours to corporate events, trade shows, and experience center activations.

 

This role blends logistics and creativity. You’ll manage events end-to-end while also helping shape the environments, touchpoints, and storytelling that define our customer experience. You’ll work closely with the Marketing and Commercial teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders across operations, engineering, project management, R&D and leadership.

 

You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy variety in your work, and be ready to travel frequently, visiting Tate facilities across the U.S. and occasionally supporting events in Europe.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead event planning and execution for customer visits, facility tours, trade shows, product launches, and internal or corporate gatherings.
  • Design and deliver memorable experiences - from site layout and flow to branded touchpoints and storytelling moments that elevate Tate’s customer journey.
  • Develop and enhance experience centers and key customer areas at Tate sites, ensuring they reflect our brand and innovation focus.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to create tailored experiences aligned with business goals and partner expectations.
  • Own all event logistics - including venue selection, travel coordination, supplier/vendor management, agenda creation, branded materials, shipping, and on-site setup and teardown.
  • Manage event communications such as invitations, confirmations, itineraries, and follow-up materials.
  • Oversee run-of-show documentation and ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, presenters, and partners.
  • Ensure brand consistency across visuals, messaging, and experience design.
  • Capture feedback and measure success, identifying ways to continuously improve experiences.
  • Support virtual and hybrid experiences, including live streaming or digital participation for global partners.
  • Develop event and experience toolkits, templates, and best practices to enable scalability and alignment across teams.
  • Travel extensively across U.S. Tate sites and occasionally internationally to support key customer and corporate events.
  • Contribute to the marketing team’s collaborative culture, assisting with broader initiatives and campaigns as needed.

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in event management, experiential marketing, or hospitality.
  • Proven ability to manage complex events end-to-end and deliver high-impact experiences.
  • Strong project management, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders.
  • A creative eye for designing experiences that engage, inspire, and leave lasting impressions.
  • Experience working with vendors, venues, and production partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and event platforms.
