All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for a Production Planner/Buyer! The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually and is eligible for our full Benefits Package, including health, dental, life, and 401k. The Workweek for this position Full-Time, (40 hours per week) 7:00AM – 3:30PM. This position will work on-site at our facility in Lancaster, PA.

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

All America Threaded Products is a leading manufacturer of threaded products including threaded rod and U-Bolts. Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, this position will be responsible for managing our supply chain, procuring raw materials, and overseeing production schedules. Primary duties include:

• Coordinating workflow on the shop floor for multiple products.
• Assessing overall needs for equipment and raw material, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring sufficient stock of raw materials to meet production demands.
• Maintaining MTR (Mill Test Report) process.
• Working with new and current raw material vendors to negotiate prices and manage shipping timetables.
• Working with the sales team to determine reasonable lead times for our customers.
• Resolving quality issues with suppliers.
• Understanding metal market trends and applying knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
• Monitor capacity planning tools to ensure the optimal level of production capability is available to meet the forecast demand.
• Coordinating the production of one or more products and ensuring promptness and accuracy.
• Reporting on the production status and other issues to upper management.
• Ensuring a smooth material flow in the production facility.
• Maintain the schedule for production and outside services.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

We a seeking a person with at least 7 years of purchasing/production planning experience (any combination of education and experience), preferably in a manufacturing environment. Other qualifications include:

• Familiarity with LEAN principles of manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
• APICS/ASCM certification is preferred.
• Experience with production forecasting, supply chain management, price negotiation, and anticipating production needs.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Excel (ability to create pivot tables and dashboards).
