You’ll manage workflow scheduling, coordinate resources, and maintain visibility of Work-in-Process (WIP) across multiple build efforts. You’ll lead and develop technicians, support cross-functional problem-solving, and uphold quality and compliance standards. Your work ensures that the production floor runs smoothly, equipment and documentation remain accurate and available, and products are delivered on time to support mission-critical spacecraft programs.

  • Develop and Support the Team: Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and mentor production technicians; provide clear direction on expectations, performance, and professional development.
  • Manage Documentation and Tracking: Ensure accurate routing, traveler documentation, and real-time updates to production records; support creation and verification of End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Workflow: Work closely with Production Program Managers, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues impacting production flow.
  • Monitor Equipment and Resources: Ensure equipment availability, schedule maintenance, and coordinate procurement of tools and production support assets to prevent downtime.
  • Maintain Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Enforce adherence to ISO-aligned processes, manufacturing procedures, and safety protocols across the production environment.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Identify workflow improvements, reduce bottlenecks, and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Quality and Compliance: You’re organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining accurate documentation, manufacturing standards, and safety practices.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production operations.
  • 1 or more years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, scheduling, and workflow management.
