Job Summary

Responsible for managing and optimizing value-based care performance, ensuring financial and clinical outcomes align with the hospital's strategic goals. Develops initiatives to improve value-based contracts, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance care quality and financial efficiency.

Essential Functions:
-Oversees implementing and managing value-based care initiatives to improve financial performance and patient outcomes.
-Analyzes performance data from value-based contracts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
-Collaborates with clinical and financial teams to develop strategies that meet value-based care objectives.
-Leads efforts to optimize revenue through effective management of risk-adjusted payments and performance incentives.
-Monitors quality and financial metrics, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
-Provides regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
-Manages relationships with payer partners, negotiating terms and managing expectations to support organizational goals.
-Supports care management programs by providing financial insights and guidance on cost-effective strategies.
-Drives continuous improvement efforts by implementing best practices in value-based care and reimbursement.


 

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Finance required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in healthcare financial management or value-based care 5-7 years required and Experience in a leadership role 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial and clinical data in value-based care.
- In-depth understanding of value-based payment models and healthcare reimbursement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives that drive performance improvement in financial and clinical outcomes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and healthcare financial reporting software.
