Foundry North, a full-service digital agency within Star Tribune, is looking for a Sr. Digital Channel Strategist to lead performance strategy and optimization across our advertisers’ digital campaigns at our headquarters in Minneapolis MN.
Part strategist, part analyst — you’ll turn data into actionable insights that drive measurable results across programmatic, paid social, PPC, and other digital channels.
As part of our Digital Accounts Team, you’ll partner with internal teams and clients to shape strategy, analyze performance, and deliver insights that lead to stronger results. You’ll test, learn, and evolve — staying ahead of digital trends and championing innovation in everything you do.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee media strategy and performance across programmatic, paid social, PPC, and other digital channels to drive measurable client outcomes.
- Analyze campaign data to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations, and lead performance and strategy discussions with clients and internal teams.
- Partner with account, media, and creative teams to align goals, messaging, targeting, and execution for effective campaign delivery.
- Test new platforms, audiences, and creative formats while defining KPIs, establishing benchmarks, and supporting innovation and best-practice adoption.
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, manage ad-hoc requests, and balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in paid media, campaign optimization, or digital strategy, ideally in an agency or media environment.
- Hands-on experience managing or analyzing campaigns in DSPs (The Trade Desk, Google Ads), paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn), and other digital channels.
- Proficiency with ad serving, tracking, and analytics tools such as Google Campaign Manager, Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including interpreting data, presenting insights, and delivering strategy recommendations.
- Understanding of audience targeting and segmentation, with experience using DMPs, CDPs, or audience intelligence tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive, curious, and adaptable approach to improving performance—including familiarity with emerging AI tools.
Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $70,500 - $106,100.
Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
