THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Overhaul Team, the Overhaul Specialist Mechanical leads the execution activities in a particular equipment area during unit overhauls and outages. The role assists in the preparation for the overhaul or outage to ensure readiness and drives activities during overhauls and outages.
This role
- Ensures readiness criteria are met in preparation for overhauls and outages;
- Co-ordinates activities during overhauls and outages;
- Resolves logistical issues impacting project delivery; and
- Co-ordinates resolution of technical issues relating to their area of equipment.
This is a fulltime, fixed term (12 month) opportunity based at Callide Power Station.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Trade – Certificate 3 and AD
- Extensive experience in the relevant equipment area
- Experience in outage delivery in thermal power stations
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite
