Jaybro is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team full-time in Altona, VIC.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors (civil, construction Tier 1 & 2, utilities, infrastructure).
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements.
  • Resolve issues promptly, working with internal teams to ensure high service levels.
  • Develop and execute a region sales plan aligned to regional and state growth goals.
  • Track and analyse sales metrics, ensuring visibility on progress to targets.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with top-tier customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers at all levels—site, procurement, and head office.
  • Generate leads and drive new business, keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions

Requirements

  • Preferred experience selling to the construction industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships.
  • Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of results.
  • Self-motivated, driven and familiar with remote working condition.
  • Time management & organisational skills.
