A Brief Overview
Works as a member of the Equity Real Estate Investments team and supports the Senior Real Estate Operations Analyst while contributing to the growth of an equity real estate investment portfolio with current investments totaling nearly $1.7B (and growing). The Equity Real Estate Operations team is responsible for providing high-quality, value-added, timely pre and post-closing services to Real Estate associates, Attorneys, Closing, Servicing, Investments, and senior management. Responsibilities of this role include: assisting with pre-closing communication and due diligence gathering, and initial investment setup. Post-closing activities include assisting senior team members in the real estate JV operation’s efforts and assisting in ongoing portfolio surveillance and reporting needs. Reports to the VP, Equity Real Estate Investments.
What you will do
- Performs key real estate JV operations functions, including but not limited to; creating and executing money movements in eFront; accurately entering fund, property, and banking data in eFront; and work with Cash Operations for timely entry of money movements in and out.
- Supports Senior Operations Analyst in being a super user within Efront/FrontInvest and ilevel and being the liaison between the Real Estate JV team and other internal stake holders such as IT, Investment Accounting, Portfolio Management, Treasury, and Cash Operations.
- Assists with the pre-closing transaction process through keeping internal departments informed and up to date on capital needs and dates, creating EOA templates, generating initial wire request packages, and verifying RGA has obtained all applicable documentation and approvals to fund investments
- Assists in the collection, assembling, tracking, analyzing and summarizing of reporting materials from all General Partners in accordance with internal accounting and audit requirements and to support of long-term performance measurement metrics for management reporting and analysis.
- Aids in the development of tools, processes and reports for performing ongoing surveillance and preliminary basic analysis of the real estate joint venture portfolio and investment markets
- Supports risk management projects and reporting initiatives by working at the direction of staff conducting this work.
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree and/or meaningful relevant operations related work experience
Preferred
- Experience with FrontInvest/Efront Investment Management Software
- Experience with cash movement and bank operations
- CCIM, MAI, or other applicable continuing education accreditation
- Relevant work experience in a real estate, investments, or finance environment
Skills and Abilities

- Basic knowledge of real estate terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures

Compensation Range:
$65,050.00 - $92,400.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
