ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing Nashville Superspeedway’s brand visibility, fan engagement, and community connection. This position blends creativity, strategic execution, and operational excellence to deliver marketing efforts that Exceed Expectations.

 

The teammate in this role will apply, uphold, and continuously improve the Speedway Motorsports Marketing Playbooks within all areas of responsibility—ensuring consistency, efficiency, and innovation that reflect the Speedway Motorsports culture of Continuous Improvement.

Primary Roles, Responsibilities, and Outcomes

  1. Digital and Social Media Leadership

 

Role: Lead Nashville Superspeedway’s digital presence through compelling storytelling and data-driven engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, schedule, and manage content across all social media platforms (paid and organic).
  • Apply the Speedway Motorsports Digital Marketing Playbook to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Measure performance, analyze engagement data, and recommend Playbook refinements that improve outcomes.
  • Produce and edit creative, multi-format content (video, graphic, written, photo) that amplifies fan connection.
  • Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and trends to enhance digital engagement and efficiency.

 

Expected Outcomes:

 

  • Growth in digital audience engagement and fan conversion.
  • Consistent application of Speedway Motorsports digital standards.
  • Ongoing Playbook enhancements based on real-world data and insights.

 

  1. Marketing, Promotions, and Community Engagement


 

Role: Support the Superspeedway’s marketing efforts to strengthen its brand presence and local impact.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, paid promotions, and community outreach efforts aligned with the Speedway Motorsports Marketing Playbook.
  • Adapt Playbook strategies to local audiences and provide input to improve effectiveness.
  • Represent Nashville Superspeedway at community events, festivals, and public engagements.
  • Support Speedway Children’s Charities and other community initiatives that reflect the company’s Impact Community principle.
  • Collaborate across internal departments to ensure unified and impactful storytelling.

  • Documented contributions to refining marketing Playbook strategies and execution standards.

 

 





 

 

  1. Website, App, and Outbound Messaging

 

Role: Manage and optimize digital communication channels to deliver clear, engaging, and consistent fan experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and update NashvilleSuperspeedway.com and the official mobile app following Speedway Motorsports’ Digital Experience Playbook.
  • Create and manage targeted email and text campaigns that drive engagement and ticket sales.
  • Analyze campaign metrics to identify improvement opportunities and inform Playbook updates.
  • Ensure all communications maintain brand integrity, accessibility, and compliance standards.

 

Expected Outcomes:

 

  • Higher engagement and conversion through digital outreach.
  • Consistent, accurate, and on-brand digital communication.
  • Implementation insights that contribute to continuous Playbook improvement.

  1. Event and Cross-Functional Collaboration

 

Role: Support and execute marketing activations during major event weekends and collaborate across the Speedway Motorsports network.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead or support social media and fan engagement efforts during live events.
  • Execute event marketing deliverables consistent with the Speedway Motorsports Event and Marketing Playbooks.
  • Gather event data, fan feedback, and operational insights to inform Playbook refinements and cross-property learning.
  • Collaborate with other Speedway Marketing Coordinators and functional teams to share best practices and align on company standards.

Skills, Attitudes, and Experience

Experience and Competencies

 

  • Experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or event promotion.
  • Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar applications.
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create, manage, and analyze digital and social media campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required.

 

Preferred Experience

 

  • Background in sports, motorsports, or live event marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM, email, and text communication platforms.
  • Experience in community engagement or nonprofit collaboration.
