What You’ll Do
- Engage and Qualify Leads: Qualify inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads to identify growth opportunities by making cold calls and/or email inquiries.
- Self-Starter – You are able to generate contacts and leads enhancement with minimal supervision and direction. You enjoy the hunt of finding the right buying contact and qualifying leads. Someone that really enjoys research, and finding that right contact!
- Generate New Business: Conduct outbound cold calls to uncover new prospects and expand our customer base.
- Sales Operations: Prepare quotes, enter orders, and ensure accurate data entry in our ERP system. Experience in working in a system such as Salesforce or other programs to keep updated sales funnels accurate is preferred, but not necessary.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide responsive and knowledgeable support to customers across multiple channels. You take pride in getting back and being receptive to requests.
- Product Expertise: Become a go-to resource for all of our product lines.
- Ecommerce Support: Assist with online sales platforms and digital customer experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Step in to support territories when needed and contribute to special projects.
- Process Improvement: Help document and refine standard operating procedures.
What You Bring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You like to be proactively going after the opportunities to grow! Cold calling and prospecting is something you enjoy doing.
- Understands technical specs and customer requirements.
- A proactive, customer-first mindset. Leads are contacted, leads are qualified and with your customer service, you start the process to grow the opportunity into a potential sale!
Qualifications
· Computer skills are required as this is in front of a computer for your day; experience with Salesforce or other CRM programs is beneficial to being considered for the role.
- This job is 8-5, Monday - Friday, the job will be mostly working with the Inside Sales team in an open office environment.
- This is not an outside sales job. There is very limited interaction with the customers face to face, mostly either on the phone or through email, Zoom, Teams, etc.
- Participation in sales training or seminars is a plus.
Experience
- Preferred 2–4 years in sales, customer service, or a public-facing role.
