Jefferson Health is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Per Diem Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join our Critical Care team at Jefferson Methodist Hospital. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for physicians who are looking to supplement their schedules or interested in a dynamic, supportive environment without a full-time commitment.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient medical critical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Respond to acute medical situations and emergencies on the floor
- Document care using EPIC electronic medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Active DEA and CDS registrations
- Prior critical care experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
