- Collaborate closely with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager and Global Capacity Manager to align production capabilities with upcoming projects, product launches, and strategic opportunities, including data center initiatives
- Serve as a key stakeholder in all new product introductions, focusing on:
- Technical resource allocation
- Facility alignment and location strategy
- Integration of new technologies
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Operations and Engineering teams to ensure readiness for product launches
- Partner with Materials Control and Operations Managers across all facilities to streamline processes and drive efficiency
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to the Production Engineer
- Abide by all company safety rules, regulations, and policies
- Develop innovative solutions to complex or uncommon issues requiring independent judgment and creativity.
- Work is performed under general direction and is evaluated based on results achieved.
- May oversee and coordinate employees assigned to specific projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance existing processes. Take a leadership role in benchmarking and identifying global best practices. Assist with the documentation and training of standardized work procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new fabrication processes.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure standardization of business processes across all locations.
- BS Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or other equivalent Engineering degree.
- Communicate effectively using electronic media and in written and verbal forms. Make telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and make formal presentations to small or large groups. English is a required
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, with minimal supervision. Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Motivated to stay abreast of the latest technology in the Facilities and Manufacturing fields.
- Willingness to accept assignments of all types which may include frequent travel and relocation.
- In-depth knowledge of materials planning computer systems required (BPCS or M3 preferred).
- Ability to work alternative schedules to support project requirements, i.e, weekends, off-shifts, etc.
- Familiar with all types of machinery, mechanical equipment, construction material, types of construction methods, and construction equipment.
- Demonstrated ability in Process Improvement, metric development, and problem-solving is required.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability required.
- Competent in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Office and CAD
- Travel up to 40%.
