Requirements:  

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in Food/Beverage manufacturing
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sit-down forklift certification (required); Stand-up forklift certification (required)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as D365 (required)
  • Intermittent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays
  • Bilingual-English/Spanish (Required)

Job Description: 

The Sr. Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials and finished products are received, stored, and accurately entered in the ERP/D365 system. In addition to occasionally performing the duties of a Warehouse Forklift Operator I and II, Warehouse Coordinators are responsible for ensuring all finished product is picked, stored, and shipped in accordance with quality standards, the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). At GT’s Living Foods, our Warehouse Associates ensure that every product order is accurately fulfilled and ready for shipment or transfer in a timely manner. Warehouse Associates are also responsible for tracking the inventory and location of ingredients and materials in the warehouse utilizing the ERP/D365 system.

Essential Duties:

  • Review shipping schedules/updates to enter information regarding inbound, outbound and transfer shipments for materials and finished product into the ERP/D365 system.
  • Communicate with carriers, Security, and Warehouse team members to coordinate customer orders and the availability of loading docks and empty trailers.
  • Post shipping schedule (and revise as needed) for all necessary Warehouse team members to ensure orders are built, loaded, and offloaded in a timely manner.
  • Print license plates for pallets of raw materials and finished product and distribute to Forklift Operators I and II to be placed on proper pallets.
  • Review systematic transactions made by Forklift Operators I and II and verify quantity/location of pallets and contents physically and systematically.
  • Escalate inconsistencies between systematic and physical quantities to management to help locate pallets, product, ingredients, and materials.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments of raw ingredients and materials (bottles, labels, packaging materials, etc.)
  • Ensure pallets of finished product are loaded and removed from the fermentation room according to quality standards and product specifications.
  • Ensure pallets of finished product are transported to and from cold storage in a timely manner according to load date and time (FIFO), quality standards, and GMP guidelines.
  • Complete end of day (EOD) report of daily warehouse movements and provide to the Warehouse Supervisor at the end of shift.
  • Based on business needs and workforce availability, the individual may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of both a Warehouse Forklift Operator I and II.
  • Flexibility is required to provide coverage for lunches and breaks during peak hours, as well as when team members are on vacation (PTO) or sick leave.
  • Ensure to diligently carry out all assigned duties, including but not limited to tasks such as monitoring trailer temperatures, reporting near misses, and maintaining yard organization.
  • Maintain daily communication regarding drivers, trailers, and driver availability for finished goods transfers.
  • Always ensure strict adherence to the Tote Transfer Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Ensure that all relevant pictures, arrivals, and processes are correctly implemented and in place as outlined in the SOP.

  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Physical Duties and Requirements:

  • Employees are required to stand for the majority of their shift
  • Frequent work near moving mechanical parts (forklifts)
  • Frequent exposure to electrical equipment (forklift batteries and charging stations)
  • Occasional walking to build orders, repalletize, wrap pallets with shrink wrap, and verify quantity/location of pallets
  • Occasional bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, and carrying of cases of finished product (up to 40 lbs.) for repalletization.
  • Occasional bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, and carrying of pallets (30 lbs.) to separate and place in designated piles according to pallet type.
  • Occasional overhead reaching, pulling, and lifting (30-40 lbs.) to open/close trailer doors.
  • Occasional pulling of pallet jack to organize empty pallets.

  • Pay Range: $22.00/hr. to $24.00/hr.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
