JOB PURPOSE
Are you ready to take your career to the next level with one of the biggest brands in Food Service? We are looking for a bright, dynamic and creative Assistant Brand Manager to help create and deliver the brand’s long term growth strategy.  With over 100 years of heritage in crafting the very best products to suit Chefs’ needs, Hellmann’s has quickly become the nation’s favourite mayonnaise.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Co-develop the long-term 2027+ brand strategy that will deliver sustainable growth for Hellmann’s

  • Lead the delivery of the brands’ Innovation & Renovation projects

  • Craft unmissable communication campaigns grounded in insight that will surprise and delight our customers

  • Lead projects across a diverse & global group of cross functional stakeholders

  • Regularly analyse data, trends and market insights to inform how we should improve or accelerate performance for the brand ongoing  

  • Oversee the performance and development of an Apprentice in your team

ALL ABOUT YOU 

  • Experienced Assistant Brand Manager with a clear track record of delivering strong results in Innovation and Communication campaigns

  • Proven experience in leading cross functional teams & projects

  • Displays and fosters good entrepreneurial spirit and prioritises thinking outside the box

  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical ability to diagnose a topic and turn this into a clear set of recommendations and strategies

  • Shows good accountability to deliver results against project timelines and objectives

  • Rigour in quality of work with great attention to detail.

  • Has a passion for management and coaching of direct reports

  • A tenacious individual who is willing to hold internal and external partners to account

  • Ability to remain agile, work with ambiguity and manage multiple projects at once.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member with strong collaborative, cross functional communication skills at all levels.

  • Degree level in Marketing or Business-related studies is preferred but not essential.

  • Experience in Food Service is preferred but not essential

Location

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
 

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
