Overview:

The BI Developer Level 2 serves as a technical and analytical lead on the BI team. This role works cross-functionally with business units to develop advanced dashboards, reports, and insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role also mentors junior team members and takes the lead on medium-to-large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure reporting needs are met.
  • Mentor Junior BI Analysts and provide guidance on best practices for data visualization and analysis.
  • Build and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support data preparation and transformation.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability in reports and dashboards.
  • Act as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and provide technical support to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualization techniques.
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in writing queries and optimizing data processing.
  • Solid foundation in data modeling concepts and best practices.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, with Azure experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related areas are preferred.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
