In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
  • Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
  • Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one’s knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.
  • Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
  • Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers.
  • Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
  • All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
  • Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and procedures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book.
  • Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
  • Other functions that may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in related area
  • +2 years of Instrumentation experience.
  • A craftsperson knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.
  • Knowledgeable in calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system. 
  • Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of particular lines of field instrumentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams.
  • Ability to seek outside resources as needed.
