Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily regional operations and managing the overall business performance of the company. This role drives a “Best in Class” service model focused on move installation, warehousing, and asset management services—delivered with productivity, reliability, communication, and integrity within a safety-first culture.

- Manage labor, facilities, and fleet operations to ensure day-to-day fulfillment
- Oversee and ensure success in cost control, quality assurance, and safety initiatives
- Manage budgets to ensure compliance with organizational financial goals
- Direct fulfillment activities in alignment with company goals across move/installation services, warehousing, and asset management
- Contribute to the development of short- and long-term strategic objectives
- Implement key strategic initiatives and continuously improve operational practices
- Develop, implement, and manage a career path matrix for all operations roles
- Oversee and improve training programs to support existing RCI and safety standards
Organizational Management
- Maintain accurate employee organization charts and uphold organizational policies
- Deliver high-quality, on-time services consistent with the "Best in Class" initiative
- Foster leadership through effective communication, training, and coaching
- Provide resolution leadership to enhance team performance and working relationships
- Leverage technology to optimize operations and service delivery
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with company objectives
- Ensure efficient, profitable deployment and allocation of resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure
- High level of accountability and persistence in achieving goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze both quantitative data and non-quantifiable factors to inform decisions
- Knowledge of commercial furniture moving, installation, warehousing, and asset management
- Project management expertise and proven team-building skills
- Effective leadership qualities and experience in hiring and onboarding
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in employee leadership
- At least 4 years of industry-related experience in project management and customer relations, ideally in furniture installation or product storage
- 5–10 years overseeing business operations in the contract furniture or service industry
