Reports To: Global Head of Sales
- Define and execute sales strategies aligned with Metrologic DCS and Sandvik objectives.
- Expand business opportunities by identifying, developing, and managing customer relationships, key accounts, and distributors.
- Consistently meet or exceed regional sales targets.
- Manage and develop a regional sales team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Promote alignment between direct sales and channel partners.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training plans.
- Act as the U.S. ambassador for Metrologic DCS, representing our brand, values, and solutions.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
- Communicate customer needs internally and serve as the voice of the customer.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and technological developments.
- Monitor KPIs and team performance using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Represent Metrologic DCS at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute localized campaigns and increase brand visibility.
- Support digital engagement efforts across platforms.
- Work closely with technical support, marketing, and operations to deliver seamless customer solutions.
- Contribute to budgeting and business planning for the U.S. territory.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years in technical B2B sales, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record managing sales teams and distribution channels.
- Strong business and management acumen.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at the operational level.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Proficient in using KPIs and performance data to guide decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to engage diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Change management and delegation skills with a coaching mindset.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- The position involves significant domestic travel (approx. 60%).
- Onboarding includes full training on Metrologic DCS solutions and strategy.
- While the role is based out of Wixom, MI, remote work is acceptable depending on location and travel flexibility.
