Job Summary: The Nevada Beverage Sales Representative is responsible for all aspects of the sales route that they are assigned to.
Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:- Knowledge & understanding of selling skills
- Ability to sell all products from A/B & NBC portfolio
- Price promotions- Knowledge of all current price promotions, communication with accounts of current price promotions
- Pricing- Assure pricing on all packages is current. Monitor competitive pricing and track competitive activity within sales territory
- Booking displays/primary, secondary and side stacks
- Rotation- Proper rotation and quality control procedures must be strictly followed
- Assist in training of Relief sales Reps
- Train & mentor sales merchandisers
- Participate in all sales incentives. Track incentives to ensure success
Additional Responsibilities:
- Report any opportunities or concerns to the Team Leader in the assigned territory
- Practice good shelf space management- space to sales, hinge and handle, traffic flow, positioning of packages, facing counts, and gaining shelf space
- Completion of paperwork- display tracking, IMPACT programs, job requests, wears tracking
- Knowledge of merchandising procedures and paper and permanent POS
Required Skills/Abilities:
The Sales Representative must have good customer service skills and present themselves in a professional, neat, and clean manner always, always representing the company positively. Must be self-motivated and organized. Product knowledge is essential as well as selling skills. Physical requirements include the ability to push/pull a Manuel pallet jack with up to 2500 pounds of weight, the ability to use a hand truck with up to 300 pounds of weight, the ability to move product weighting 20-25 pounds from ground level to waist level 250+ times a day, from waist to chest level 250+ times a day and overhead approximately 25+ times a day. In addition, there is frequent twisting, bending, turning, squatting, reaching, pulling, and pushing. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. A valid, Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma required; previous experience recommended but not required.
