IT Infrastructure Engineer bei Oracle Elevator

Job Description: Elevated is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage efficient and scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including on-premises servers, networks, storage, and cloud-based systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure systems; monitor system health and resource utilization, optimizing as needed for cost and efficiency.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and patch management; apply hardening measures to servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Apply security best practices across all infrastructure components; monitor for vulnerabilities, breaches, and suspicious activity; implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and IAM solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues (network, server, cloud, security); respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Work closely with Business units to provide technical support, training, and guidance to users and junior team members.
• Develop, implement, and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for both on-premises and cloud systems.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, procedures, and incident reports; ensure compliance with relevant regulations (SOX, NIST, etc.) and internal policies.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization for infrastructure resources.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and best practices to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-level infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Security) are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
