Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Graphic Designer to join the Marketing and Communications team. Full-time Day Shift: Monday–Friday, general office hours | Hybrid work schedule

Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares final artwork for output for vendors and provides quality control on proofs and deliverables.
- Directs freelance designers, photographers, illustrators and other vendors that support in-house teams.
- Stays up to date on current design trends, software, technology and provides recommendations.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
- Work with copywriters and leadership to produce final design.
- Test graphics across various media.
- Amend designs after feedback.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, visual design or fine arts with a strong emphasis in graphic design.
- Experience: Four years of graphic design experience in print and digital for an in house marketing/communications department or agency. Design experience with software knowledge of QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Office and an understanding of creating web graphics.
