The Business & Technical Analysis Manager establishes operational objectives, policies and procedures and delegates assignments to their team responsible for the identification, evaluation and design of technology-based business solutions as well as providing support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications. They drive the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to solving complex business problems, driving system optimization and mitigating potential risk.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Tactical decision-maker, Handles unforeseen issues.
- Manages activities of two or more disciplines or a department. Oversees experienced level professionals and/or may be responsible for subordinate managers.
- Frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters.
- Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
- Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
- Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
- Responsible for supporting employee career development.
- Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.
Knowledge & Application
- Establishes operational objectives, policies, procedures and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.
- Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
- Accountable for department budget which may be broad and have far reaching impact on the business segment.
- Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Problems are not clearly defined and lack strategic direction.
- Implements policies and selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization.
Collaboration & Interaction
- Interacts regularly with lower and/or senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, department, and/or customers.
- Applies knowledge to convince other stakeholders on desired departmental outcomes.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment (without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.)
Education
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in software development
Preferred
- One of the following certifications: Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) and Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)
- Additional Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Experience
Required
- 8-10 years of experience in software development in the software development industry
- Expertise and knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
- Expertise and knowledge of software development tools, platforms, and languages
- Proven end to end experience in leading the development, integration, testing, and deployment of highly complex cloud-based software solutions or internet-related tools
- Proven experience in working with highly complex relational databases and advanced SQL techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in developing and leading the development of highly scalable and complex Microservices and in-depth knowledge of various integration patterns
- Extensive experience in software architecture and design principles
Preferred
- 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle Applications across modules such as Order to Invoice, HRC, Credit and Collection, Rebate Management, and Tax, with strong expertise in SOX controls for financial applications in both On-Premise and SaaS Cloud environments
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in customer data conversions, Customer Lifecycle Management tools, Semarchy CLM, Supplier data management and hub experience, electronic invoicing, and tax integrations with other Saas applications
- 2+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies, complemented by certifications in Agile and PMP
- Knowledge of Supply chain modules Order management(R12) & Order orchestration(cloud), pricing, costing etc. is a plus
