We are seeking proactive and highly organised Rail Replacement Controllers to join our London Rail Replacement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating and managing rail replacement operations during periods of planned and unplanned service disruption.
Due to the nature of the work, this position is offered on a zero-hour contract basis, with a variety of shift patterns available — primarily during weekends and at various locations across London.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage replacement bus and coach services to ensure seamless passenger journeys during rail disruptions (both planned and emergency).
- Complete and maintain all job-specific documentation accurately and promptly.
- Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused response, ensuring excellent service standards at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, external suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
- Promote and maintain health and safety, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others, and promptly reporting any unsafe acts or conditions.
- Perform additional duties as required and appropriate to the role.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- Calm, professional, and methodical under pressure, particularly in fast-paced or high-stress situations.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including shift work on a rota basis (covering middle and late shifts).
