As part of your agile DevOps team, you will develop and operate identity and access management applications for Swisscom’s B2B customers. Together with your team, you ensure that the solutions for our customers are always up to date and promote their digital transformation. You will design and develop software (frontend & backend) in an interdisciplinary team and contribute to the quality and security of our systems. You use innovative technologies and concepts to improve the quality of our support and provide the best services for our customers. With your passion for software engineering and cloud platforms, you will take Swisscom to the next level.

  • Responsibility for the high quality of services and use of modern software architectures and cloud technologies
  • Operation, lifecycle, further development and monitoring of the data centre infrastructure for managed UC solutions (public, private and hybrid cloud)
  • Collaboration in change, problem and incident management and support for customers during cloud transformation
  • Ensuring and monitoring the applications in the operating environments (Linux, Windows) and creating CI/CD pipelines
  • Development and operation of applications in a multicultural, self-organised team
  • Passion for the entire software lifecycle from analysis to design, implementation, testing and operation
  • Responsibility for the entire project from implementation to operation - “You build it, you run it!”
  • Working in an international and geographically distributed team, developing scalable solutions with modern cloud technologies
  • Supporting the personal development of team members in an agile and self-organised team
  • Versatile tasks in the field of the latest network technologies and personal development in a hybrid working environment

Your skills

  • Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of Cisco UCS, VMWare, Dell/EMC storage and Microsoft server technologies
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, Karate, Gatling, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, PowerShell, Python and Ansible
  • Knowledge of identity and access management as well as software development with Java and JavaScript
  • Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions
  • Expertise in AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and CloudFormation
  • In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Practical experience in project management
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Structured, goal-orientated, independent and precise work
  • Very good German and English
