Patient Account Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Account Representative to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and account inquiries

- Follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely collections

- Verify patient information and update account records accurately

- Collaborate with billing and coding departments to resolve billing discrepancies

- Maintain detailed documentation of all collection activities and communications

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in patient accounts, billing, or collections REQUIRED.  Medical background strongly preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of healthcare billing and collections processes is a plus
