Notified is seeking a Streaming Media Producer in New York City. Our expectation at this time is you will work from our office, located at 28 Liberty Street, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday. The position involves approximately 30% travel, including destinations across the U.S. and Toronto.
The Streaming Media Producer will be responsible for working with clients from pre-sale through event delivery to executing live, on-site events that support our clients’ critical communications. This includes planning and delivering high-quality webcast productions, ensuring seamless integration of streaming technologies. Candidates should possess strong project management skills, experience directing AV crews in live production environments, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients to bring their vision to life across both in-person and virtual platforms.
Essential Duties:
Act as the single point of contact for clients, responsible for the end-to-end technical execution of webcasts and on-site productions.
Coordinate all pre-production activities, including:
Configure client webcasts on Notified’s platform, ensuring design elements and functionality align with client specifications and are delivered accurately.
Managing logistics and communication with both in-person and virtual presenters.
Collaborating with third-party AV providers to design production plans, schedule crews, and secure necessary equipment.
Leading coordination and communication with client AV teams, external vendors, remote sites, venues, and internal stakeholders.
Supporting pre-sales efforts through quote preparation and managing AV partner and freelancer bookings throughout the project lifecycle.
Creating and delivering comprehensive production booklets detailing event communications, schedules, contact lists, processes, production notes, and rehearsal requirements.
Tracking project action items and deliverables, and leading regular stakeholder reviews.
Travel to client events as the primary onsite contact and technical lead for live productions, ensuring flawless execution and reinforcing client confidence in Notified as a trusted event partner. Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with clients to meet production requirements, including implementing real-time changes ahead of the event.
Communicating updates to sales, internal teams, and onsite crews.
Directing on-site and freelance crews during setup and production to meet client expectations.
Setting up encoding and AV equipment inline with Notified’s standards and best practices.
Performing final quality checks and ensuring smooth execution of live productions, webcasts and conferences.
Resolving technical issues and escalations promptly.
Stay current with industry trends and proactively recommend new equipment, software, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and continuously refine workflows and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Event Management, AV production, or a related role.
- Experience working in union environments and corporate event settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with live video production workflows and streaming systems/software.
- Working knowledge of video production tools and equipment, including Adobe Creative Cloud, video cameras, audio gear, and production switchers.
- Proficient in corporate productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent events.
- Comfortable adapting to real-time changes and multitasking in high-pressure, client-facing environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to operate independently as the primary production lead.

The starting salary for this role is expected to fall within the range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
