Job Description
This position will give you the opportunity to support:
Inbound Lead Qualification & Nurture
- Respond promptly to inbound leads from campaigns, events, and the website.
- Qualify MQLs into sales-ready opportunities based on ICP, role, and business pain.
- Manage nurture sequences for early-stage leads until they’re ready for AE handoff.
- Document all inbound engagement in Salesforce/HubSpot with clean data.
- Move individual inbound leads (MQLs) into account-level opportunities (MQAs) by researching target companies, mapping buying groups, and engaging additional stake
- Ensure that every inbound lead is developed into a full account view with multiple engaged contacts before handoff to sales.
Outbound Account Research & Engagement
- Identify and map stakeholders across complex industrial accounts.
- Track organizational changes, trigger events, and industry news to inform outreach.
- Multi-thread outreach across decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
- Personalize engagement using Waites’ case studies, thought leadership, and insights.
Campaign & Event Follow-Up
- Partner with Marketing to follow up on webinar attendees, syndication leads, and trade show contacts.
- Prioritize accounts showing account-level engagement (MQAs).
Pipeline Development & Handoff
- Convert inbound MQLs and outbound outreach into qualified opportunities.
- Transition opportunities to AEs with context, relationship maps, and engagement history.
- Support AE account plans with insights gathered during SDR prospecting.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1–3 years in sales development, business development, or customer-facing roles (B2B/enterprise preferred).
- Strong communication skills for handling both inbound qualification and outbound engagement.
- Analytical and research-driven mindset; comfortable mapping large accounts.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), and other prospecting tools (LI Navigator, ZoomInfo, Seamless, apollo etc.)
- Ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders confidently.
- Collaborative approach; motivated by both individual and team success.
- The ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on delivering a customer-delight experience in every interaction.
