Location: Based in Asheville however float will provide coverage for all Rad/Onc locations for Brevard, Clyde, Weaverville, Marion, Forrest City, and Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit and managing related clinical activities. This position supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Additionally, this role utilizes nursing skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care. In addition, this position collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the administration of the medical and nursing plan of care in compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities for this role include contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare team.

- Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
